Sunita > June 20 2008 Aarav and his buggy friends Just found out today that Aarav is allergic to dairy products and soy :( We have changed his formula and I am on a no soy/dairy/casein diet. It's good we detected this early - despite his inflamed gut, he's been a pretty happy baby.

Sunita > June 15 Happy Father's day! Never really celebrated such occassions growing up, but now that I am a parent, and having recently lost my father, they suddenly seem to have acquired some meaning. For instance, I wish I had listened more to my father and showed my appreciation better. I realize now that even though he was not around a whole lot or was the father I wanted him to be, a lot of what and who I am is because of him. I see a lot of my father in my brother and that is comforting, I guess. Anyway, enough of sentimentality. Here's to wonderful memories that remain and those that remain to be created. p.s.: This is a card for my brother - on the left is a photo of him with Sahana and on the right, with Avantika.
