Happy Father's day!

Never really celebrated such occassions growing up, but now that I am a parent, and having recently lost my father, they suddenly seem to have acquired some meaning. For instance, I wish I had listened more to my father and showed my appreciation better. I realize now that even though he was not around a whole lot or was the father I wanted him to be, a lot of what and who I am is because of him. I see a lot of my father in my brother and that is comforting, I guess. Anyway, enough of sentimentality. Here's to wonderful memories that remain and those that remain to be created.
